The Arizona House of Representatives is currently considering Senate Bill 1347, sponsored by Senator David Gowan. The bill creates a definition of cavendish pipe tobacco in statute to fix a taxation issue many IPCPR members have experienced with the Department of Revenue. The legislation will correct this issue and bring cavendish products under the lower luxury tax rate.
