Epic Cigars’ latest cigar is a collaboration with Paul DiSilvio of La Casa Grande Tobacco Company. A Bronx Tale by Chazz Palminteri is a cigar that Palminteri dedicates to his grandfather, Calogero, and to all the hardworking families who came to the U.S. for a better life.
“A Bronx Tale” is a critically acclaimed play that became a classic movie. Both works had a significant impact on popular culture. It was also turned into a musical by Chazz Palminteri. In the film version, the audience is introduced to a young boy who grows up in the Bronx and is torn between the values of his hardworking father and the allure of a local mob boss. The play and the film explore the themes of loyalty, family, and the struggle to find one’s identity in a constantly changing world.
La Casa Grande Tobacco Company is based in the Bronx and is known for the handmade premium cigars it produces in its Bronx-based factory and sold in its retail shop. For this particular release, La Casa Grande Tobacco Company’s Paul DiSilvio teamed up with Epic Cigars’ Dean Parsons to create this medium to full-bodied box-pressed 6 x 54 Toro. The blend includes a Cuban seed Ecuador Hababo wrapper, Dominican binder, and Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos.
Chazz Palminteri will be in Las Vegas July 8-9, debuting the A Bronx Tale line of premium cigars at the PCA23 trade show and international convention. Retailers can meet Palminteri, receive a signed poster, and order these cigars at the show at the Zander-Greg booth (#7079). To register to attend PCA23, visit pcashow.org.
