New Delaware Statewide Age Restriction Effective July 16, 2019

Delaware Governor John Carney has signed Senate Bill 25. This legislation increases the legal age for tobacco products from 18 to 21. Effective July 16, 2019, it shall be unlawful for any person to sell or distribute any tobacco product or tobacco substitute to an individual who has not attained the age of 21 years or to purchase any tobacco product or tobacco substitute on behalf of an individual under 21 years of age.
