PCA Launches $60K in 60 Days Campaign to Support Premium Tobacco Industry

[Washington, DC, Aug. 18, 2021] On August 2, 2021, the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) launched a new campaign to raise funds for its’ advocacy work on behalf of the premium tobacco industry. The goal is to raise $60,000 in 60 days with monies raised going directly to support the PCA’s advocacy efforts on the local, state and national levels.

It is no surprise that premium cigar and pipe tobacco businesses have been targeted by harmful legislation, and in the midst of the global pandemic, such efforts have increased tenfold. This is why the Association launched the PCA Industry Defense Fund —to help raise money specifically for state advocacy and to defeat threatening legislation such as tax increases, local preemption, and outright bans. 

Now is the time for the premium tobacco industry —manufacturers, retailers, and consumers, to ramp up the fight, build new partnerships, strengthen our grassroots voice, and take industry advocacy to a new level!
