PPP Funding Replenished

Yesterday, the House of Representatives approved an additional $310 billion dollars in funding for the Payment Protection Program (PPP), intended to assist small businesses in retaining employees during the Coronavirus. The Senate approved funding earlier in the week after two weeks of negotiations. The legislation that was adopted also including additional funding for hospitals and COVID-19 testing.

The funding increase to the PPP is an opportunity for more PCA members to get federal support for your businesses. If you did not receive funding through this program during the first wave, you can apply on the Small Business Administration website.

The Small Business Administration and US Department of Treasury also released an updated Frequently Asked Questions document detailing program specifics.
