C.L.E. Cigar Company has announced the promotion of industry veteran Robert Wright to the position of national sales manger. Wright has over 40 years of experience within the premium cigar industry including positions at Camacho and Davidoff Cigars.

Wright began working closely with C.L.E. Cigar Company president and founder Christian Eiora in the early days of Camacho Cigars. During this time, he held the position of vice president of sales and after Camacho was acquired by Davidoff Cigars he went on to serve as national sales manager of Davidoff Cigars. Once Eiroa launched C.L.E. Cigar Company in 2012, Wright was offered the position of northeast territory manager of the company.
Tom Lazuka, vice president of sales at C.L.E. Cigar Company, commented: “I am honored to announce the promotion of Robert Wright to National Sales Manager. I have been working with Robert for exactly 20 years and couldn’t imagine a better fit for our company. With my travel demands and my dedication to the development of new products it was time for Robert to fill this role. I’m very excited for Robert and for the future of C.L.E. Cigar Company.”
“Robert Wright has been part of our team since the beginning. I can’t think of anyone better to fill this role for our company. I have all the faith that Robert will help take C.L.E. Cigar Company to even greater heights,” commented Eiroa in a press release.
In his downtime, Wright enjoys performing music which he has stated has many parallels with what he does within the cigar industry. He enjoys improvisation in music and believes this musical form plays a role in his sales profession and helps him easily relate to people and discover their needs. Wright’s new position of national sales manager at C.L.E. Cigar Company begins immediately.
