Exhibitor Liability Insurance Program
All exhibitors at the PCA Trade Show must carry general liability coverage from an insurance company in good standing with minimum policy limits of $1M/occurrence and $2M/aggregate. This is a standard required and is not not optional.
This insurance must be in force during the lease dates of the event (including set up and and breakdown), naming the Premium Cigar Association (513 Capitol Court, NE Suite 300 Washington, DC 20002) as the certificate holder. The following must be listed as additional insured: Premium Cigar Association, Sands Expo Convention Center and Venetian Meetings.
Insurance Requirement at-a-glance Checklist:

Why am I required to have Liability Insurance?
As part of your exhibitor contract, you agree to not only carry the required exhibitor insurance but also to hold the event producer harmless. This insurance requirement protects both the exhibitor and the event producer for claims that arise due to the exhibitors’ actions or products. The exhibitor is responsible for their actions and products whether or not they purchase exhibitor insurance.
Event producers are required by venue contracts to carry insurance to protect the venue, the event attendees, the exhibitors and anyone else who could possibly be injured at an event. Event producers are responsible for their actions and have insurance for claims that are their responsibility.
Exhibitors are responsible for their actions. As a result, exhibitors are required to provide a certificate of insurance to the event producer to verify they have the required insurance. This is or may be called trade show exhibitor insurance, vendor insurance, exhibitor insurance, exhibitor liability insurance, general liability insurance or a certificate of insurance.
