Powstanie Cigars is adding a new cigar to its lineup. The Powstanie San Andrés, made in Estelí, Nicaragua, is handcrafted at the Nica Sueño factory. This is a follow-up to the Powstanie Connecticut that was released years ago.
In a press release, Powstanie brand owner Mike Szczepankiewcz commented: “This release reflects our commitment to delivering premium cigars with unparalleled quality and flavor. The San Andres Powstanie is the perfect addition for those who seek strength, depth, and sophistication in their smoking experience.”
The Powstanie San Andrés has a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, an Ecuadorian Habano binder, and filler tobacco from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. This cigar will be available in Robusto, Toro, Belicoso, Perfecto, and Corona sizes. The suggested retail price per cigar will range from $13.50 to $16. The new Powstanie San Andrés is available for wholesale purchase by retailers across the U.S.
On another note, Powstanie has announced a price increase for its core line due to rising production costs. The company stated that it would absorb the cost increases across all sizes, but the price for the Corona Gorda Broadleaf and Habano would increase by about 3% per cigar.
