Cavalier Genève Cigars has announced the release of its third Project Broadleaf iteration, titled Project Broadleaf Wayfinders. The new release, debuting this week, will be available in two vitolas—an approach unique within the series.

Introduced as a core line earlier this year, Project Broadleaf represents a bold addition to Cavalier Genève’s portfolio. Due to the challenges of sourcing Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper tobacco, the series is structured as four unique annual releases, each featuring a distinct size and blend variation built around the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.

The Wayfinders cigars feature a new blend developed exclusively for this third project. They are offered in two sizes: a 5 7/8 x 52 Parejo and a 9 x 48 Parejo, both presented in 10-count boxes. The cigars feature a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, a Jamastran binder, and filler tobaccos from Estelí, Jamastran, and India. While both vitolas share the same base blend, each has been adjusted to complement its size. The wrapper used in this release has undergone more than three years of fermentation, followed by an additional year in bale aging, making the tobacco over five years old.

The 5 7/8 x 52 Parejo carries a suggested retail price of $170 per 10-count box, while the 9 x 48 Parejo is priced at $280 per 10-count box.

Details for the fourth Project Broadleaf release of 2025 remain undisclosed, but the company has confirmed that it is scheduled to ship in November to selected retailers. All cigars from the third and fourth iterations have been fully allocated, with no additional inventory available for 2025. Going forward, all four Project Broadleaf releases will become annual offerings, with the potential for minor blend adjustments over time.

“These cigars are some of the most intense and rich releases we’ve introduced so far at Cavalier, offering a bold experience for our customers,” said Sébastien Decoppet, founder of Cavalier Genève Cigars.

All Cavalier Genève cigars are handmade at the company’s Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. (FCT) in Honduras.
