Aganorsa Leaf and Cigars Daily have teamed up to introduce a new take on one of Aganorsa’s most celebrated projects—the Rare Leaf Reserve. The collaboration brings the Rare Leaf line into Connecticut-wrapped territory for the first time with the Rare Leaf Reserve Daily Edition Connecticut, available exclusively through Cigars Daily.
For years, Aganorsa Leaf’s Rare Leaf Reserve series has been prized for its use of high-quality tobaccos from the company’s premier Nicaraguan farms. Until now, the collection’s Corojo and Maduro versions have been the only expressions available to retailers. This new release, co-created by Cigars Daily founder Tim Swanson and Aganorsa Leaf’s Terence Reilly, introduces a milder yet equally complex interpretation designed for everyday enjoyment.
The Rare Leaf Reserve Daily Edition Connecticut features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Aganorsa’s signature Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 tobaccos, producing a creamy, mild-to-medium profile with the nuanced balance and consistency that define the Rare Leaf brand.
Swanson explained the project’s inspiration: “The Rare Leaf has always been a standout project for me… but I found myself wondering why there wasn’t a Rare Leaf Connecticut. When Terence was willing to collaborate, it became the perfect opportunity to create something I could enjoy with my morning coffee. My hope is that cigar lovers will enjoy this project as much as I have.”
Reilly added, “Rare Leaf has always represented the best of what we grow on our farms. With the Rare Leaf Connecticut, we’re showing a different side of Aganorsa—creamy, elegant, and still full of that signature flavor that makes our tobacco unique.”
The Rare Leaf Reserve Daily Edition Connecticut will be produced in small batches and available exclusively through Cigars Daily in Phoenix, Arizona.
