Paul Garmirian Inc., one of the most respected names in boutique, small-production premium cigars, is commemorating its 35th anniversary with the debut of two limited-edition vitolas crafted to honor the brand’s legacy of refinement and cigar scholarship. The PG 35th Anniversary—released in a Connoisseur (6 x 52) and Super Robusto (5 x 54)—is now shipping to PG Authorized retailers across the United States.
Handmade at the long-trusted Occidental factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, the anniversary blend features Dominican fillers and binder paired with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, staying true to the elegant, Old-World style that first put PG Cigars on the map. Both sizes come in boxes of 25, with suggested retail pricing of $24 per cigar for the Connoisseur and $22 per cigar for the Super Robusto (before applicable taxes).
Founder Paul Garmirian says the project is a direct homage to the blend philosophy that made the original Gourmet Series an underground favorite among connoisseurs when it launched in 1990. In his words, the new PG 35th Anniversary cigars are “so smooth that it makes you think that it is either the mildest strong cigar or the strongest mild cigar we have ever made”—a balance he has pursued since day one.
With over three decades of dedication to small-batch craftsmanship, scholarly cigar writing, and steadfast support of brick-and-mortar tobacconists, PG Cigars remains proudly “small by choice.” The 35th Anniversary release stands as a tribute to that philosophy—and to the enthusiasts and retailers who have supported the brand since 1990.
