The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) has announced the results of its most recent Board of Directors election, with three new members elected to the Board and two current members re-elected to additional terms.
Following a nomination and proxy voting process open to eligible PCA members, the following individuals have been elected to serve three-year terms on the PCA Board of Directors:
Newly Elected Board Members
- Brandon Hayes, Renegade Cigars
- Paul Copeland, Shore Thing Cigars
- Michael Frey, CigarBox
Re-Elected Board Members
- Teresa Wessling, Georgetown Tobacco
- Christian Eiroa, C.L.E. Cigars
PCA Board Members are elected by the Association’s membership and serve three-year terms. To qualify, candidates must maintain active PCA membership and complete the formal nomination process. For this election cycle, nominations were accepted through December 31, 2025, with voting conducted by proxy vote of PCA members from January 12–16, 2026. Newly elected board members will officially be approved by the general membership of the association on Friday April 16th at the PCA 2026 trade show in New Orleans.
“The association experienced the largest growth in terms of membership, attendance, and revenue in 2025 in the last decade and that is a result of strategic decisions made by the Board of Directors and the effective execution of those decisions by the staff. I look forward to working with the newly elected board members to continue this upward momentum” says Joshua Habursky, Chief Executive Officer of the Premium Cigar Association.
“The last two years the association saw increased participation in the Board Elections, and we sincerely appreciate everyone who applied, was nominated, and was ultimately elected to serve. I look forward to working with the newly elected board members as we tackle an ambitious agenda from modernizing the association to education initiatives, new event programming, and our staple programs of advocacy and trade show,” says Todd Naifeh, President of the Board of Directors of the Premium Cigar Association.
The PCA Board of Directors plays a critical role in guiding the Association’s mission, supporting advocacy efforts at the state and federal levels, shaping member programs and events, and helping ensure the long-term health of the premium cigar industry. Board service offers members a direct opportunity to contribute leadership, experience, and perspective at a pivotal time for specialty tobacco retailing and manufacturing.
The Premium Cigar Association extends its congratulations to the newly elected and re-elected Board members and thanks all nominees and voting members who participated in the election process. Their engagement reflects the strength and commitment of the PCA community.
