The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) is proud to announce a new partnership agreement with ProCigar, marking an important milestone in the continued growth and unity of the premium cigar industry.

Rooted in a shared commitment to safeguarding tradition, supporting members, and elevating premium cigar culture worldwide, this agreement represents a renewed collaboration between two leading organizations dedicated to advancing the industry across the Dominican Republic, the United States, and beyond.

“This new partnership reflects the strength of our shared purpose,” said Joshua Habursky, CEO of the Premium Cigar Association. “I admire the work of ProCigar with their members and leadership creating new opportunities specifically for US retailers and bettering the industry through programs such as the new rolling school. I am excited to attend the ProCigar reception at the PCA trade show in New Orleans because they know how to put together some of the best events in the business.”

“This partnership represents a meaningful step forward for ProCigar and the Dominican cigar community,” said Agustín Fernández, Executive Director of ProCigar. “By strengthening our relationship with the Premium Cigar Association, we are creating new opportunities to support retailers, celebrate our shared premium cigar heritage, and work together to ensure the continued growth and protection of our industry worldwide.”

ProCigar Returns to the PCA Trade Show
As part of this strengthened alliance, ProCigar will return to the PCA Trade Show & Convention, exhibiting once again and hosting impactful promotional initiatives in collaboration with Dominican Republic government authorities and ProCigar member companies. Their presence underscores the international importance of the PCA Trade Show as the premier gathering of the premium cigar industry. Additionally, the ProCigar will be hosting a Dominican-inspired reception for attendees of this year’s PCA26 trade show in New Orleans. Details to be shared by ProCigar and the PCA in the coming weeks.

PCA Delegation to Attend ProCigar Festival
In the spirit of mutual engagement, a PCA delegation will attend the ProCigar Festival this year, further deepening ties with Dominican manufacturers and expanding opportunities for retailers and industry partners through direct international connection.

Collaborative Promotion and Shared Initiatives

Both organizations will actively support one another’s key initiatives, including ProCigar’s new Retailers Program and PCA’s cultural publishing project with Nick Hammond, Around the World in 80 Cigars: The American Dream. These efforts reflect a shared focus on elevating premium cigars through storytelling, engagement, and broader industry participation.

Education as a Core Pillar
A central component of the partnership is a joint commitment to education across every link of the premium cigar supply chain. PCA and ProCigar will collaborate on future educational programming designed to inform, empower, and strengthen the industry for generations to come.

A Unified Future
This agreement signals a new era of cooperation—one that expands international relationships, strengthens advocacy, and delivers meaningful value for retailers, manufacturers, and premium cigar enthusiasts worldwide.

Together, PCA and ProCigar reaffirm their dedication to protecting the future of premium cigars while celebrating the culture, community, and craftsmanship that define the industry.
