Altadis U.S.A. has announced the release of Montecristo Espada Conquistador, a new addition to the Montecristo Espada portfolio scheduled to debut at the 2026 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show (PCA26) in New Orleans. The release expands the Espada line, joining the original Montecristo Espada and Espada Oscuro offerings.

Montecristo Espada Conquistador is a Nicaraguan puro developed in collaboration with Rafael Nodal and the Plasencia family. The cigar uses Nicaraguan wrapper, binder, and filler tobaccos sourced from Plasencia estates in Nicaragua. According to the company, the blend is positioned as a medium-full profile intended to sit between the original Espada, described as medium-bodied, and Espada Oscuro, described as full-bodied.

The line will be offered in four vitolas, each packaged in 10-count boxes. Formats include the Ricasso (5 x 54) with a suggested retail price of $19.95 per cigar, the Guard (6 x 50) at $20.95 per cigar, the Quillon (7 x 56) at $21.95 per cigar, and the Magnum Especial (6 x 60) at $22.50 per cigar.

The cigars are presented in red 10-count boxes featuring gold accents and updated Espada branding elements. The Montecristo Espada Conquistador will be officially unveiled at PCA26 at the Altadis U.S.A. booth beginning April 17, 2026, with shipments to premium cigar retailers expected to begin in June 2026.
