Forged Cigar Co. has announced the release of La Gloria Cubana Intención, a new full-time addition to the La Gloria Cubana portfolio. Intención was developed as a return to the La Gloria Cubana’s earlier focus on fuller-bodied blends, larger ring gauges, and accessible price points.
La Gloria Cubana Intención is described as a medium-to-full-bodied blend. The cigar features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over an Indonesian binder. The filler blend consists of Nicaraguan Estelí Ligero and Viso tobaccos, along with Honduran Jamastran Viso and Honduran La Entrada Ligero tobaccos.The cigars are produced at Scandinavian Tobacco Group Estelí, S.A. in Nicaragua.
Intención will be offered in three vitolas packaged in 20-count boxes:
- The Gran Robusto measures 5 x 54 and carries a suggested retail price of $5.99 per cigar.
- The Toro measures 6 x 52 and carries a suggested retail price of $6.99 per cigar.
- The Gigante measures 6 x 60 and carries a suggested retail price of $7.99 per cigar.
Forged Cigar Co. will begin shipping La Gloria Cubana Intención to retailers on April 20, 2026.
