Premium Cigar Association (PCA): Tell us about the business.
Olga Piña, owner: Our salon opened its doors on October 4, 2025, in the city of Miami, with a very clear vision: to create a space where the premium cigar is appreciated not only as a product, but as a cultural, artisanal and sensory expression. The main motivation was born from a deep admiration for the tradition of fine tobacco, its history, its artisanal process and the ritual that surrounds it. We wanted to offer a place that honored that heritage, combining it with an elegant, welcoming and contemporary atmosphere, where both connoisseurs and new fans could feel comfortable and well guided.
What’s the best piece of advice you received from someone about your store?
The best advice we’ve ever received has been not to sacrifice authenticity for immediacy. In an industry as rich in tradition as that of pure premium, consistency, quality and respect for the craft must always be above passing fashions. Building a strong reputation takes time, but it’s that consistent commitment to excellence that truly endures.
Why join the PCA? What do you hope to get out of your PCA membership?
Joining the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) represents a natural step in our growth. The PCA is an institution that protects, educates and strengthens the premium cigar industry, and sharing that commitment is critical to us. We hope that this membership will allow us to stay informed, actively participate in the defense of the sector, strengthen relationships with other industry professionals and continue to raise our standards as a responsible and well-positioned business within the market.
Where do you expect to see your business in five years?
In five years we aspire to consolidate ourselves as a benchmark of excellence and good taste within the panorama of premium cigar salons in Miami. We want our name to be associated with a carefully curated experience, an impeccable selection of cigars and a service that reflects knowledge, respect and passion for fine tobacco.Beyond growth, our goal is to maintain the essence with which we started: quality, authenticity and a genuine relationship with our customer community.
Will you be attending this year’s PCA trade show in New Orleans? What do you hope to achieve during the show?
Yes, we are planning to attend the PCA trade show in New Orleans. We hope it will be a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships with manufacturers and distributors, discover new proposals within the industry and continue to learn from the trends and challenges facing the sector. The show also represents a space for exchange and professional growth that we consider essential to continue evolving in an informed and strategic
way.
