Topper Cigar Co. has begun shipping several new products first showcased earlier this year at the 2026 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) trade show, including the new Topper 1894 Broadleaf line and a Shorty vitola that will be offered across all three of the company’s premium cigar lines.
The Topper 1894 Broadleaf expands the existing 1894 portfolio with a blend that combines Connecticut and Dominican tobaccos. It features a U.S.-grown Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Dominican binder and Connecticut Broadleaf-seed filler grown in the Dominican Republic.
According to Topper, the combination of a Connecticut-grown wrapper with Dominican-grown Connecticut Broadleaf-seed filler is unlike any blend the company has previously offered.
The 1894 Broadleaf is packaged in boxes of 20 and is available in the same three sizes as the original Topper 1894:
- Toro (6 x 54) — $10.50 MSRP
- Corona (6 x 44) — $8.75 MSRP
- Robust (4 x 50) — $8.75 MSRP
Topper Adds Shorty Across Premium Portfolio
Topper is also introducing a new 4 1/4 x 43 Shorty across its three premium lines. The smaller-format cigar is packaged in boxes of 25 and is now available in Topper 1894, Topper 1894 Broadleaf and Topper 125th Anniversary.
The Topper 1894 and 1894 Broadleaf Shorty each carry an MSRP of $5.50 per cigar, while the Topper 125th Anniversary Shorty is priced at $6.50.
Both the new 1894 Broadleaf line and Shorty offerings have begun shipping to retailers.
