Alec Bradley is expanding its Chunk series with Chunk Sumatra, a new regular-production cigar scheduled to begin shipping to retailers in October 2026.
Chunk Sumatra becomes the third dedicated line in the Chunk portfolio, joining Chunk Maduro and Chunk Shade. The Chunk name was previously used as a short, large-ring-gauge frontmark for several Alec Bradley lines before being developed into a standalone series.
Produced in Honduras, the medium-bodied cigar uses a U.S. Broadleaf binder and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Honduras. Alec Bradley lists dried fruit, spice and cedar among the blend’s tasting notes.

Chunk Sumatra will be offered in three short, large-ring-gauge formats:
- XL: 4 x 60; $6.49 per cigar
- 3XL: 4 x 66; $8.49 per cigar
- 4XL: 4 x 80; $9.49 per cigar
The XL and 3XL will be packaged in boxes of 20 cigars, while the 4XL will ship in 18-count boxes. Retail shipments are scheduled to begin in October.
