Fermin Perez Cigars is restructuring its U.S. distribution and manufacturing operations as the Miami-based premium cigar company looks to expand its retail presence nationwide.
The company has named Domain Distribution as its centralized U.S. wholesale partner while shifting cigar production to Tabacalera Familia Disla S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Under the new arrangement, retailers will be able to browse the Fermin Perez Cigars portfolio and place wholesale orders through Domain Distribution’s online ordering platform. Orders will be fulfilled from Kansas City, Kansas, giving retailers a centralized source for ordering, restocking and product support.
The move also gives Fermin Perez Cigars a new dedicated manufacturing home at Tabacalera Familia Disla. Founder Fermin Pérez Jr. will continue to oversee tobacco selection, blend development and final product approval.
“For me, the cigar always comes first,” Pérez said. “Familia Disla gives us a strong home for production, while Domain Distribution gives our retail partners a simpler way to order, restock and keep Fermin Perez Cigars on their shelves.”
Founded in 2021, Fermin Perez Cigars draws on Pérez’s Cuban heritage and Miami roots. Its current portfolio includes Bold, Classic, Esmeralda, Royal, Miami, Puro Estelí and Serie de Oro.
Tabacalera Familia Disla is led by Esteban Disla and Daniel Lance. In addition to producing Domain Cigars, the Estelí factory manufactures and develops cigars for independent brands.
Domain Distribution serves as the U.S. wholesale distribution operation for brands produced at Tabacalera Familia Disla. Its Kansas City operation combines online retailer ordering, sales support and centralized fulfillment.
The new production and distribution structure is intended to streamline how Fermin Perez Cigars moves products from its Nicaraguan factory to tobacconists and lounges throughout the United States.
