German Engineered Cigars has made its Raumzeit and Weltschmerz blends available through distributors, completing a Nicaraguan portfolio that also includes Kraftwerk, RVGN and RVGN Extrem.

Both releases carry the company’s NFC-enabled cigar ring. Tapping the ring with a compatible phone authenticates the cigar, opens a guided description of its aromatic progression and provides access to a “Moment Log” for recording the smoking experience. No separate app is required.

Raumzeit

Raumzeit is positioned as a light-to-medium-bodied blend. The line is offered in three formats:

  • 42 cm³ Robusto: 5.25 x 50
  • 54 cm³ Torpedo: 6.25 x 52
  • 68 cm³ Gordo: 6 x 60

The brand presents Raumzeit as the lighter side of the portfolio, intended for smokers seeking a more spacious, easygoing expression.

Weltschmerz

Weltschmerz moves into medium-bodied territory and is also available in three sizes:

  • 42 cm³ Robusto: 5.25 x 50
  • 46 cm³ Perfecto: 5 x 54
  • 54 cm³ Toro: 6.25 x 52

All three Weltschmerz formats now use the company’s Aero packaging.

U.S. retailers may order through City of Palms Cigar Distribution. The addition of Raumzeit and Weltschmerz gives retailers access to the full German Engineered Cigars lineup and extends the company’s connected-packaging system across the newly available blends.
