Alec Bradley has announced the return of its seasonal limited-edition Filthy Hooligan and Filthy Hooligan Shamrockcigars for a 2026 release, continuing an annual tradition that has become closely associated with the lead-up to St. Patrick’s Day. Both cigars are handcrafted in Honduras and are expected to begin shipping to retailers in January, with limited quantities available.

The two releases share the same core blend as Alec Bradley’s award-winning Black Market line, featuring a Sumatra binder over a filler blend of Honduran and Panamanian tobaccos. Where Filthy Hooligan and Shamrock distinguish themselves is in their wrapper presentations, each offering a visually striking take on the barber pole format while maintaining the bold character associated with the Black Market blend .

Filthy Hooligan features a dual-wrapper barber pole combining Honduran Candela and Nicaraguan Oscuro, delivering contrast in both appearance and flavor. Filthy Hooligan Shamrock expands on that concept with a triple-wrapper design that incorporates Honduran Candela, Nicaraguan Oscuro, and Nicaraguan Habano, adding another layer of complexity to the presentation. The bright green Candela wrappers and distinctive banding have made both cigars seasonal standouts in humidors each spring.

Both cigars are offered exclusively in a 6 x 50 Toro vitola. Filthy Hooligan is packaged in 24-count boxes with a suggested retail price of $12.69 per cigar, while Filthy Hooligan Shamrock is presented in 10-count boxes with a suggested retail price of $15.09 per cigar before applicable taxes. According to the company, limited production and strong consumer demand have historically led both releases to sell through quickly ahead of St. Patrick’s Day.
