Artesano Del Tobacco has announced that the new Viva La Vida Connecticut Churchill has begun shipping to retailers that placed pre-orders during the 2026 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show (PCA26).
The new 7 x 54 Churchill expands the Viva La Vida Connecticut portfolio following the line’s initial launch. According to the company, the new vitola was developed in response to feedback from retail partners and consumers who requested a larger format.
The Viva La Vida Connecticut Churchill is produced at AJ Fernandez Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua, and utilizes the same blend found throughout the existing Viva La Vida Connecticut line. The cigar features an aged Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.
“Our clients have always played an important role in helping shape our brands,” said Billy Fakih, Gus Fakih, and Ivan of Artesano Del Tobacco in a joint statement. The company noted that the Churchill took additional time to bring to market in order to allow the tobacco to fully develop before release.
The Churchill is packaged in white wooden boxes containing 10 cigars and carries a suggested retail price of $16 per cigar.
