Black Works Studio has announced the release of Hawaii Hornet, a new cigar produced exclusively for R. Field Wine Co.. The cigar is handcrafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua, continuing the studio’s approach to limited, region-specific releases.
Hawaii Hornet expands Black Works Studio’s line of Hawaii-exclusive cigars, which are designed to reflect both the brand’s signature intensity and the preferences of the local market. According to the company, the blend delivers a bold, spice-forward profile layered with complexity and a long finish, aligning with the darker, richer flavor characteristics that have defined its previous Hawaiian releases.
The cigar features a distinctive triple-wrapper combination of Ecuadorian Maduro, Candela, and Connecticut, paired with an Ecuadorian Habano binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The result is intended to showcase depth, earthiness, and spice, with a pronounced retrohale that highlights the blend’s complexity. Hawaii Hornet is offered in a 5 x 50 Robusto, packaged in 10-count boxes, with an MSRP of $11.50 per cigar.
Hawaii Hornet is available exclusively at R. Field Wine Co. in Honolulu, reinforcing the cigar’s local focus and limited availability.
