CAO is completing its trilogy of FASA cigars with the upcoming release of FASA Sombra, a smooth, shade-grown complement to FASA Sol and FASA Noche. As the third cigar in the series, the CAO Sombra offers cigar enthusiasts a nuanced smoking experience e that’s ideal for those new to the cigar lifestyle.
In a press release, CAO brand manager Cory Beardsley commented: “FASA Sombra was created to bring the FASA lineup full circle. With Sol, we delivered a bold sun-grown expression. With Noche, a rich Maduro profile. And now, with Sombra, we’ve crafted a refined, shade-grown smoke that’s smooth yet layered. The FASA trilogy now offers the ideal smoking experience: morning, noon, or night.”
The FASA Sombra has an Ecuadorian shade-grown wrapper, a Cameroon binder, and a filler blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco. The cigar is handcrafted at General Cigar Dominicana and will be available in two sizes: a 6 x 50 Toro and a 6 x 60 Gigante. Both sizes will be packed in 24-count boxes. The suggested retail price per cigar will range from $6.99 to $7.99.
FASA Sombra will begin shipping to retailers on April 7, 2025.
