Casa Carrillo has announced Pledge of Allegiance Rockets, a limited-edition release commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Production is limited to 250 individually numbered humidors, representing one humidor for each year since the nation’s founding. Each humidor contains 20 cigars in a 6 3/8 x 58 format and will be available exclusively through select Casa Carrillo retailers.
The collection features two blends made entirely with American-grown tobaccos aged between three and five years. The two cigars are distinguished by red and blue foot bands.
Connecticut Broadleaf Blend
The Connecticut Broadleaf blend, identified by its red foot band, uses a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Pennsylvania 41 binder and filler tobaccos grown in Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Casa Carrillo describes the cigar as full-bodied with subtle sweetness.
Pennsylvania Broadleaf Blend
The Pennsylvania Broadleaf blend carries a blue foot band. It features a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, Havana Connecticut binder and Pennsylvania and Connecticut filler tobaccos. The company describes this blend as full-bodied with a more intense flavor profile.
“Pledge of Allegiance has always been about the journey to America and the opportunities that this country represents,” Casa Carrillo founder Ernesto Perez-Carrillo said. “For the 250th anniversary, I wanted to create something that was truly American from the tobacco to the story behind it.”
Each humidor includes a dedicated grid-style compartment designed to hold a humidity pack. The humidors will begin shipping to participating retailers on Sept. 28.
Pledge of Allegiance Rockets carries a suggested retail price of $50 per cigar or $1,000 per 20-count humidor.
Casa Carrillo also plans to dedicate a portion of the humidors to military- and veteran-related initiatives. Additional events and raffles are planned through the remainder of 2026 as part of Casa Carrillo Cares, the company’s charitable program.
