Crowned Heads is expanding its Blood Medicine B-Positive line for 2026, introducing the limited-edition cigar in three vitolas following the strong response to last year’s single-size debut.
The B-Positive blend first appeared in 2025 as an experimental extension of the Blood Medicine series. That initial release was offered in a single Toro format and was designed to push the character of the original blend into darker and fuller territory. For 2026, Crowned Heads is building on that momentum by offering the cigar in three different sizes while maintaining the same core blend.
A Darker Expression of Blood Medicine
The Blood Medicine B-Positive blend is distinguished by its Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper, which replaces the Ecuadorian Habano wrapper used in the original Blood Medicine line. Beneath the wrapper is an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed binder paired with Nicaraguan fillers, creating a profile designed to emphasize richer and more robust flavors.
According to the company, the cigar delivers a fuller-bodied smoking experience with notes often associated with darker blends, including cocoa, espresso, leather, and earthy spice.
Like other Crowned Heads releases, the cigar also carries a narrative tied to the brand’s Nashville roots. The name “Blood Medicine” references a historic slogan once displayed on a building in downtown Nashville associated with a late-19th-century wholesale drug company and later the Merchants Hotel.
Produced at TacaNicsa in Estelí
The cigars are produced at the TacaNicsa factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, under the supervision of master blender Eradio Pichardo, whose factory has become a key production partner for Crowned Heads in recent years.
Production of the Blood Medicine B-Positive Limited Edition 2026 is highly restricted, with just 800 boxes produced for each size.
