During its press conference, the Dominican Association of Cigars and Tobacco (ADOCITAB) provided all the details of the third edition of the Dominican Cigar Expo, an exhibition that will take place from April 25-27, 2025, at the Parque Central of Santiago de los Caballeros, aiming to continue positioning the country as the global epicenter of the tobacco industry.
The Dominican Cigar Expo is an initiative by ADOCITAB, a non-profit organization that groups, consolidates, and promotes the organization of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises linked to the tobacco production chain in the Dominican Republic. The event was created in response to the need to showcase the quality and prestige of Dominican tobacco to the world, which is the country’s main agro-industrial product and a true national brand with a presence on all five continents.
Throughout the three days of the expo, attendees will be able to enjoy a multi-sensory experience featuring tastings, specialized talks, pairings, culinary and artistic proposals, as well as a favorable space for networking among producers, entrepreneurs, distributors, consumers, suppliers, and other key industry players.
“The Dominican Cigar Expo is a world-class exhibition that honors the economic, cultural, and social importance of Dominican tobacco, which has been declared by law as the Cultural Heritage of the Nation,” stated by Osvaldo Radhamés Rodríguez, president of ADOCITAB.
The expo targets authorities, shop owners, producers, accessory manufacturers, industry entrepreneurs, growers, and tobacco enthusiasts, and tobacco enthusiasts from both local and international markets. This year, the exhibition is strengthened by the presence of foreign guests and entities that reaffirm the global reach of the Dominican tobacco industry.

The event will open its doors on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 3-11 p.m., and will continue on Saturday, April 26, 2025, and Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 11 a.m.-11 p.m., offering multiple opportunities to connect with the key players in this vibrant industry.
