Drew Estate has announced the release of the Liga Privada H99 “Churrasco”, a new expression within the H99 Connecticut Corojo portfolio created exclusively for Cigars International. The release expands the H99 line with a more structured, box-pressed format designed to deliver a bolder interpretation while maintaining the balance, refinement, and complexity associated with Liga Privada.
The 6 x 50 box-pressed Churrasco is built around Drew Estate’s distinctive H99 Connecticut-grown Corojo wrapper, a tobacco known for its natural spice, sweetness, and earthy character. The box-pressed format places added emphasis on the wrapper, allowing those characteristics to come forward with greater intensity and focus.
Beneath the wrapper, the cigar features a meticulously constructed blend of premium tobaccos selected to provide depth and richness without sacrificing nuance. According to the company, the profile delivers layered notes of black pepper, roasted nuts, dark cocoa, and savory undertones, resulting in a medium-full to full-bodied smoking experience that pushes the H99 profile into bolder territory while remaining true to its core identity.
The name Churrasco, referencing fire, tradition, and bold flavor, reflects the intent behind the release. Drew Estate describes the cigar as a deliberate expansion of the H99 line—designed with purpose for a specific retail partner rather than broad distribution.
