E.P. Carrillo announces the upcoming release of La Historia Silk, a limited-edition expression that introduces a new voice within the celebrated Perez-Carrillo series. Blended by Lissette Perez-Carrillo, Silk represents a bold, modern evolution of the award-winning La Historia line—crafted through a lens of grace, resilience, and refinement.

Scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2025, La Historia Silk will be produced in extremely limited quantities, with just 500 boxes released annually. Each cigar will be rolled in a classic 6 x 52 round Toro format and produced at the Casa Carrillo factory in the Dominican Republic.

This project is a deeply personal endeavor for Lissette Perez-Carrillo, who drew inspiration from the women who continue to shape the premium cigar world—both behind the scenes and at the center of the experience.

“La Historia Silk is a tribute to the women who have inspired, supported, and defined our journey—both personally and professionally,” commented Lissette. “We set out to create a cigar that expresses elegance and strength in equal measure, and we knew it had to be shaped by the very people it honors.”

In a unique development process, three final wrapper options have been crafted and are currently being sampled by a select group of retailers and women cigar enthusiasts nationwide:

  • Mexican San Andrés – bold, rich, and earthy
  • Ecuadorian Connecticut – creamy, smooth, and delicate
  • Ecuadorian Havana – aromatic, balanced, and nuanced

The final blend will be unveiled at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA25) trade show in New Orleans, marking a special moment of community-driven selection and shared creativity. Once finalized, La Historia Silk will be presented in 10-count boxes, with pricing to be announced. Though limited in production, this release signals a broader evolution within the Perez-Carrillo portfolio—honoring tradition while continuing to explore new perspectives and expressions of identity.

Retailers attending PCA 2025 are invited to visit the E.P. Carrillo booth to learn more about La Historia Silk and take part in the journey toward its final unveiling.
