Ferio Tego is bringing back its highly anticipated annual releases with the arrival of the 2024 editions of Elegancia and Generoso, shipping to retailers this August. Now in their fourth year, these flagship cigars have become staples of the Ferio Tego portfolio, offering two distinct and refined expressions that reflect the brand’s commitment to precision, aging, and craftsmanship.

Both cigars are presented in a single 6 x 50 toro vitola and packaged in Ferio Tego’s signature travel humidors, crafted by the Cigar Box Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Each humidor holds ten cigars and comes preloaded with humidity packs, allowing customers to store and enjoy the cigars right out of the box.

The 2024 Elegancia is produced in collaboration with the Quesada family at their factory in Licey, Dominican Republic. It features an Ecuadorian shade-grown wrapper, a Dominican binder, and fillers from both the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The Generoso, produced in Estelí, Nicaragua by the Plasencia family, showcases a Honduran-grown wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and all-Nicaraguan filler.

While the core blends remain consistent each year, the Ferio Tego annual releases are crafted to reflect the nuances of each production cycle—much like vintage wines. The 2024 editions were completed at the end of 2023 and have since been aged for 22 months to achieve their intended character and balance.

“Each year, we approach these blends with the same commitment to style and structure, but also with the freedom to let the tobaccos speak for themselves,” said Michael Herklots, co-owner and blender of Ferio Tego. “Much like wine, no two vintages are identical. Our goal is to capture the best possible expression of Elegancia and Generoso in each annual production.”

The suggested retail price for each ten-count humidor is $240 before applicable taxes. Limited quantities of the 2023 vintage are still available while supplies last. Ferio Tego is distributed in the U.S. by Davidoff of Geneva USA.
