Foundation Cigar Company has announced a nationwide rollout of its Primer Fábrica 1810 cigar, following its debut at the 2025 PCA Trade Show. This limited-production, event-only release pays tribute to the first known American cigar factory, founded in Suffield, Connecticut, in 1810.
The 5¾ x 60 soft box-pressed cigar features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Brazilian Mata Fina binder, and undisclosed fillers. It will be available only at select Foundation-hosted events across the U.S., with each region holding just four events per month for the remainder of 2025.
Available exclusively at Foundation events, the Primer Fábrica 1810 will not be offered for retail sale and can only be obtained with the purchase of a box of The Wise Man Corojo or The Wise Man Maduro. Each event will have just 15 three-count boxes available, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Retailers and consumers can visit foundationcigars.com/events to find the full schedule and locations.
“This series is about honoring American cigar history and connecting with our supporters through something truly special,” said Nicholas Melillo, Founder and Master Blender of Foundation Cigar Company.
