Foundation Cigar Company has begun shipping its newest Wise Man Corojo and Wise Man Maduro Lancero vitolas to select premium tobacconists across the United States.
First unveiled at the 2025 PCA Trade Show in New Orleans, the new 7 x 40 Lanceros have already caught the attention of retailers and enthusiasts for their refined profiles and classic presentation.
“These vitolas represent a deep connection to my roots as a blender and to my grandfather, who always appreciated the elegance of the Lancero format,” said Nicholas Melillo, founder and master blender of Foundation Cigar Company. “We’ve taken two of our most complex blends—Corojo and Maduro—and refined them into something truly special.”
The Wise Man Corojo Lancero is a Nicaraguan puro wrapped in Corojo 99, offering notes of spice, cedar, and natural sweetness. The Wise Man Maduro Lancero features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, San Andrés binder, and Nicaraguan fillers for a rich blend of cocoa, espresso, and earth.
Both cigars are presented in 20-count boxes and reflect the heritage, craftsmanship, and complexity that have made the Wise Man series one of Foundation’s most celebrated lines. The initial release will reach select retailers this week, with wider availability planned for later this fall.
