At this year’s Premium Cigar Association (PCA) trade show in New Orleans, Fratello Cigars will launch the Oro Toro Fresh Pack, a new sampler fresh pack that focuses on its popular Oro line.
“We have such a great following for the Oro line, which also happens to be amongst our top-selling brands, so we wanted to bring our consumers this beautiful addition,” Omar de Frias, founder and president of Fratello Cigars, explained.
Each Oro Toro Fresh Pack will have a suggested retail price of $57.50. This is the company’s fifth Fratello fresh pack sampler. Following its PCA25 debut, it is expected to begin shipping to retailers on April 15, 2025.
Beginning on March 27, 2025, select retailers will receive Bootlegger, the fourth release in Fratello Cigars’ Concealed Carry series.
This cigar gets its name from those in the Prohibition era of the 1920s who smuggled whiskey in barrels, hid moonshine in hallowed-out books, and outwitted authorities with secret tunnels and coded messages. These individuals, known as bootleggers, were rebellious and willing to operate in smokey speakeasies and back alleys.
In a press release, de Frias commented: “The Bootlegger is the perfect follow-through to our popular Speakeasy cigar. Both are more than just cigars, they’re stories. Tales of entrepreneurship are born not from luxury but from necessity and are forced by the heavy hand of government regulation. These cigars pay homage to the boldness, grit, and creativity it took to thrive in the shadows of Prohibition.”
This cigar will be available as a 5 1/2 x 54 Robusto and released as a small-batch, limited-edition cigar. Bootlegger comes packaged in 12-count canisters, and each cigar has a suggested retail price of $10.
