After the successful launches of Rojo and Oscuro, a third offering from Hoyo de Monterrey is on the way. The new release, called Hoyo de Monterrey Shade, is shipping now to retailers.
“Hoyo Shade is the perfect follow-up to last year’s releases, Rojo and Oscuro. Given Hoyo’s reputation for crafting excellent shade cigars, we knew we had to set a high standard for Shade, and I’m pleased to say we’ve met it. Add to all of that a more-than-approachable price point, and I’m confident that Hoyo Shade will quickly become a fan favorite,” commented Hoyo de Monterrey brand manager Scott Abney.
The Hoyo de Monterrey Shade has a Honduran shade wrapper, a Honduran binder, and Honduran filler tobacco. This Honduran puro was crafted by artisans at the HATSA factory in Danlí, Honduras. This cigar is available in three sizes: Rothschild, 4 1/2 x 50; Toro, 6 x 52; and Gigante, 6 x 60. According to the company, this cigar has a tasting notes that include smooth hints of earth and grass.
