For this year’s Premium Cigar Association (PCA) trade show, Illusione has several new projects and releases that will make their debut including the ONEOFF Black and The Group of Five, and new branding for the Illusione Epernay.

ONEOFF Black, presented as a 5 x 52 Robusto, is the first of Illusione’s limited release series. Made from a new varietal seed that has not been grown in Nicaragua, Illusione’s Dion Giolito set aside specific tobacco priming and bale aged them for three years. This cigar is described as being “extremely complex and extremely rare.” The ONEOFF Black is a mild-medium bodied smoke that’s both complex and extremely rare. Only 1,000 10-count boxes will be released with each cigar having a suggested retail price of $16.95.

The next new release from Illusione is the Group of Five ‘RB’ 5 x 52, the first size in a series of five cigars that will be released. This cigar features a blend of Criollo 98 and Corojo 99 tobacco and uses higher priming Viso rom a new varietal seed that hasn’t been grown in Nicaragua. Other details of the blend have not be revealed but this will be a new regular production cigar. Packaged in 15-count boxes, the Illusione Group of Five will have a suggested retail price of $16.95 per cigar before applicable taxes.

In addition to these new releases, Illusione will be updating the branding for one of its most successful and highest-rated blends, the Epernay. The new branding was designed to represent the true essence of Illusione Cigars’s “Marquis Deluxe” brand.
