Jonathan Drew Sann and Drew Estate have announced a new partnership and concept that blends family legacy, small-batch manufacturing, and experiential retail into a single destination: J.Sann & Son.

Set to open in Spring 2026 in Miami’s Wynwood Art District, J.Sann & Son will operate as a cigar factory, brand incubator, cigar bar, live music venue, and full kitchen supper club—housed under one 7,200-square-foot roof. The project represents a new chapter in Jonathan Drew Sann’s career, inspired by the birth of his son and envisioned as a “generational establishment” built around family, continuity, and purpose.

While closely aligned with Drew Estate, J.Sann & Son is positioned as a founder-forward extension of Sann’s creative identity rather than a departure from his role within the company. Sann will continue serving as President and Chief Innovation Officer of Drew Estate, with J.Sann & Son functioning as a complementary platform focused on culture, storytelling, and limited production.

At the core of the concept is a family cigar factory capable of producing just 500 handmade cigars per day. That intentionally limited output will shape how J.Sann & Son cigars reach the market. According to the announcement, Drew Estate plans to distribute J.Sann & Son-manufactured brands on an extremely exclusive basis, underscoring the boutique nature of the project and its potential appeal to retailers seeking differentiated, scarcity-driven offerings.

For retailers, the model is notable not only for its production constraints but for its broader retail philosophy. In addition to its own cigars, J.Sann & Son will curate a selection of cigars from major brands, boutiques, and emerging makers—chosen based on personal significance to Sann and framed as a snapshot of what he believes deserves celebration in today’s marketplace. That curated approach mirrors a growing trend among high-end retailers toward intentional assortments anchored in storytelling rather than sheer volume.

The venue’s hospitality component is equally ambitious. The bar and kitchen will be led by chef Julia Ning, whose background includes Michelin-starred and James Beard Award-winning kitchens. Her involvement signals an effort to elevate food and beverage beyond the typical cigar lounge experience, positioning J.Sann & Son as a destination for both cigar enthusiasts and lifestyle-driven consumers.

Live music and immersive brand events will also play a central role. The space is designed to host experiential evenings that spotlight founders, brands, and the human stories behind cigars—an approach that aligns with the industry’s increasing emphasis on education, narrative, and community engagement. onathan’s family factory brands will be available to purchase in person at the Wynwood venue and online at www.jsannandson.com. Drew Estate plans to distribute J.Sann & Son manufactured brands on an extremely exclusive basis due to the production limitation of 500 cigars daily.
