Playboy and Kingmakers have announced a new partnership with the launch of the Playboy Cigar Collection, marking Playboy’s entry into a new chapter within the premium cigar space. The collaboration, years in development, is positioned as part of Playboy’s broader brand reinvigoration and will debut with its first release beginning in Winter 2025.

The inaugural cigar in the collection is a 6 x 54 Toro crafted in Estelí, Nicaragua. The blend features a golden Ecuadorian Habano Criollo wrapper over aged Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, resulting in a medium-bodied profile designed to balance approachability with complexity. According to the companies, the cigar delivers notes of cedar, espresso, and subtle sweetness, offering a modern interpretation of a classic flavor profile while reflecting the heritage often associated with the Playboy name.

Production for the Playboy Cigar Collection will be limited, with the Toro offered in 10-count boxes priced at $120 per box, or $12 per cigar MSRP. The cigars will be available through select retailers nationwide, as well as via online platforms including Cigars.com and Kingmakers’ dedicated Playboy page.

For Kingmakers, the partnership represents a continuation of its strategy of aligning with high-profile cultural figures and lifestyle brands. The company has previously collaborated with notable names across sports, music, and entertainment, and the Playboy release further reinforces its emphasis on storytelling, exclusivity, and brand-driven cigar projects.

The launch of the cigar line coincides with the reintroduction of Playboy magazine, positioning the cigar as part of a wider lifestyle relaunch for the brand. To support the debut, the Playboy Cigar Collection will be featured in a curated national rollout, appearing at select private lounges, supper clubs, and lifestyle events designed to introduce consumers to the modern Playboy identity through immersive experiences.
