Les Fines Lames is releasing new ashtrays made from RAW Aluminum and Obsidian.
The tumbled RAW Aluminum finish gives Les Fines Lames’s Monad and Dyad ashtrays a bold, industrial makeover. Embracing the Wabi-Sabi philosophy, each RAW Aluminum ashtray is unique as it contains marks from the production process. Over time, natural marks like fingerprints, stains, and oxidation will change and alter the appearance of this ashtray, transforming it into a distinctive piece.
Les Fines Lames is also introducing its ashtrays in a new Obsidian option. Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed by lava’s rapid cooling. This process creates a stunning play of reflection and transparency in each ashtray. Les Fines Lames offers a Monad and Dyad style of Obsidian ashtray.
