Lure Cigars has announced the release of The Wahoo, a limited cigar scheduled to debut at the 2026 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show (PCA26) in New Orleans. The release follows the company’s earlier offering, The Jolly Walleye, and is presented as a separate blend developed for a different profile.

The Wahoo is produced using a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan Estelí binder, with filler tobaccos sourced from the Jalapa and Estelí regions of Nicaragua. The cigar is described as medium- to full-bodied.

The release will be offered in two torpedo formats. The Ono measures 6 x 52 in a box-pressed torpedo format and is limited to 1,700 cigars. The Kingfish measures 6 1/2 x 52 in a torpedo format and is limited to 2,500 cigars. Both cigars carry a suggested retail price of $16.00 per cigar.

The cigars will be packaged in 10-count kraft packs that include Boveda humidification.

Lure Cigars has indicated that The Wahoo will be showcased at PCA 2026 (April 17–20, New Orleans), where the company will exhibit at Booth #1419.

The release is designated as a PCA-exclusive offering, with distribution tied to retail partners attending the trade show.

Shipments to retailers are expected to begin in mid-May 2026.
