General Cigar Co. has announced the release of M by Macanudo Myers’s Rum, a new flavored cigar created in partnership with Myers’s Rum. The release becomes the seventh cigar in the M by Macanudo lineup, which focuses on flavor-infused cigars within the Macanudo portfolio.
The project draws on the Jamaican heritage of both brands. Macanudo stated that some of its early cigars were produced in Kingston, Jamaica, while Myers’s Rum has long been associated with Jamaican rum production. The new release combines those brand connections in a cigar inspired by Jamaican rum flavors. M by Macanudo Myers’s Rum is handcrafted at General Cigar Dominicana.
The cigar features an Indonesian wrapper over a Dominican binder and Dominican filler tobaccos. It will be offered in a single 5 x 50 Robusto format.General Cigar will begin shipping the M by Macanudo Myers’s Rum cigar to retailers in late April 2026. The cigar carries a suggested retail price of $9.89 per cigar before applicable taxes.
