Maya Selva is celebrating the 30th anniversary of her premium cigar brand in a big way. Selva has announced the opening of her new cigar factory, Fabrica de Puros MSC, located in Danlí, Honduras.

Upon entering the factory, visitors are welcomed by a glass mural crafted by renowned Honduran artist Regina Aguilar named Tabaco Sagrado (Sacred Tobacco). Within this piece’s glass leaves, the artist tried to capture the spirit of a magnificent smoke while playing with sunlight and reflections that penetrate the windows and the senses.

Beyond the mural and down the main hall, visitors are enchanted by the aroma of tobacco leaves being worked by dozens of torceadores who are rolling and assembling cigars. This new factory embodies 30 years of business that began with a love for Honduras and its tobacco. For 30 years, Maya Selva Cigars has been crafting premium cigars that include Flor de Selva, Cumpay, and Villa Zamorano. Its cigars are available globally in 55 different countries across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The packaging, boxes, and bands Maya Selva Cigars use are all made by Honduran hands.
