Micallef Cigars has expanded its Color Series by releasing the new Micallef Purple, a medium-bodied smoke offered at a great value. Micallef created the Color Series to give cigar enthusiasts exceptional quality at an accessible price.
“We continue to invest in the best tobaccos, the best people, and the best processes to bring extraordinary cigars to the market. Micallef Purple is another proud addition to our Color Series, and I can’t wait for our Ambassadors and retail partners to enjoy it,” commented Micallef Cigars founder Al Micallef.
The Micallef Purple has a San Andrés Sumatra wrapper, broadleaf binder, and Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Mexican filler tobacco. It will be offered in two sizes: Robusto, 5 x 52, and Toro, 6 x 52. According to Micallef Cigars, the new Micallef Purple “delivers a smooth yet complex smoking experience, with notes of cinnamon, nuts, cocoa, and white pepper, balanced by earthy undertones of chocolate, leather, molasses, and cedar.”
The suggested retail price of the Micallef Purple will be between $7 and $8 per cigar before applicable taxes.
Micallef Purple will be available for retailers to order during this year’s PCA25 trade show in New Orleans, April 11-14, 2025. It is expected to begin shipping in late April 2025.
