Micallef Cigars and Two Guys Cigars have expanded their exclusive Gordo lineup with the introduction of three additional blends in the 6 x 60 format: Micallef Green, Micallef White, and Micallef Blue.
The new releases follow the January debut of exclusive Gordo versions of Micallef Black and Micallef Red. According to Two Guys Cigars, the expanded lineup was developed to offer additional options for consumers seeking larger ring-gauge cigars within Micallef’s Color Series.
The Micallef Green Gordo features a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés Negro binder with Nicaraguan fillers. The Micallef White Gordo uses a Connecticut wrapper, Broadleaf binder, and a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. Completing the expansion, the Micallef Blue Gordo is crafted with a San Andrés Sumatra wrapper, an Ecuadorian Habano binder, and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers.
David Garofalo, owner and founder of Two Guys Cigars, said the project originated after discussions with Micallef about adding a larger format to the company’s portfolio. The first two exclusive Gordos debuted earlier this year, with the latest additions completing more of the Color Series in the retailer-exclusive size.
The new Green, White, and Blue Gordos will carry a suggested retail price of $10.29 per cigar or $179.99 per box of 20.
The cigars will be available beginning July 9 exclusively through Two Guys Cigars and the retailer’s website.
