After being teased during the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) trade show, Manny Iriarte Enterprises launched the Fuente OpusX Society Cigar during an exclusive event at Tabacon Cigar Lounge in Miami, Florida, on Oct. 19, 2024. Each attendee had the chance to smoke the new blend at the red carpet soiree.
In addition to retailers, OpusX cigar enthusiasts, and others from around the world, notable personalities like Romero Britto, Alonzo Mourning, Ignacio Meyer, Motiff, and Arturo Sandoval attended this event.
Each attendee received a curated package with an exclusive ceramic ashtray, a carbon fiber cigar case, and a 375ml bottle of rum from the Dominican Republic. Before this event, the Fuente OpusX Society had never offered the ceramic ashtray and carbon fiber case. Those attending this event also had the opportunity to be among the first to purchase a box of the OpusX Society Cigar, which sold out by the end of the night.
City officials awarded Carlito Fuente Jr. and Manny Iriarte keys to the City of Sweetwater during this special event. The City of Sweetwater and the City of Doral issued special proclamations designating October 19 as the official Fuente OpusX Society Day. Mayors of Doral and Sweetwater were present at the event to bestow these honors. Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava also presented Fuente and Iriarte with a congratulatory certificate honoring the day.
The Fuente The OpusX Society Cigar is available in a perfecto format measuring 6 1/4 x 49. This cigar is housed in an elegantly designed wooden box finished in the signature Fuente The OpusX Society yellow and blue lacquer colors. Each box has two trays of 10 cigars (20 cigars in total). The OpusX Society Cigar is now shipping to retailers nationwide.
