The CDC has recently updated it’s recommendations to no gatherings of 10 or more people, changed from 50 people yesterday.  PCA recommends each retailer does what they feel best in the interest of the safety and health of their employees and their customers. As we stated yesterday, it is critical to follow the recommendations of the CDC, your local health Departments, and or your local governments.

At a minimum, we recommend you practice hyper cleaning practices, including cleaning all surfaces that consumers and employees come into contact with, including but not limited to door handles, seating areas, counters, etc. It is an important time to notify employees about the evolving health and safety standards. We know many retail locations are adapting with reduced hours, pickup only options, and full closures. We will seek to obtain disaster relief for all PCA members no matter your decision on how to address this public health crisis. We appreciate your cooperation in social responsibility efforts to minimize the damage of the coronavirus in the coming weeks.

Understand the situation is constantly changing and we will do our best to keep you informed.
