WASHINGTON, DC, Dec. 10, 2020 — PCA’s Head of Government Affairs Joshua Habursky was awarded the distinction of The Hill newspaper 2020 Top Lobbyists list. This is the third time Habursky has received this designation and previously won for his grassroots efforts as the Chairman of the Grassroots Professional Network for two consecutive years. As the Head of Government Affairs, Habursky serves as the main PCA association lobbyist before Congress, Federal Agencies, and the Administration. In addition to his work with PCA, Habursky contributes to the government affairs community as an adjunct professor at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management and has authored two eBooks this year on advocacy topics.

The Hill notes, “The list highlights the broad range of talents needed to achieve success in the influence industry. But all of the people below are key players on K Street — and the ones the nation’s biggest companies, labor unions and associations turn to when they want their voices heard in the nation’s capital. The ranks of policy experts and influencers run deep in Washington, but these are the people who stand out for delivering results for their clients in the halls of Congress and in the administration.”

“The PCA is proud of the work Joshua has done and it is rewarding to see his efforts recognized,” said PCA Executive Director Scott Pearce. “The premium cigar industry is very lucky to have a government affairs professional of Joshua’s caliber representing and fighting for us.”

John Anderson, current President of the PCA echoed Pearce’s sentiment, noting Habursky’s love of the industry and tireless efforts on its behalf. “As an association, we are very lucky to have such a great asset who works non-stop for the entire premium cigar category. As a retail store owner, I feel much better knowing that Joshua is on our side,” Anderson said.
