Perdomo Cigars has announced the upcoming release of the Perdomo Legacy, a tribute blended by Nicholas Perdomo III to his father, Nick Perdomo Jr. This cigar features a one-of-a-kind shade-grown hybrid tobacco that was crafted by combining Cuban-seed and Cameroon-seed genetics.

“This exceptional brand is dedicated to my father and our founder, Nick Perdomo, Jr. It not only recognizes his incredible contributions to Perdomo Cigars over the past 30-plus years but also highlights the lasting impact he has made and continues to make–on the cigar industry,” commented Nicholas Perdomo III.
He goes on to say, “Over a decade ago, my father established a shade-grown operation on our 600-acre farm, Finca Natalie, in Estelí, Nicaragua. The mineral-rich volcanic soil created the perfect environment for cultivating a rich, flavorful tobacco from a hybridized Cuban-Cameroon seed developed in collaboration with our agronomy and genetics teams. I am beyond excited and proud to share this exceptional tobacco–the Perdomo Nicaraguan Shade-Grown–with our loyal retailers, devoted consumers, and the entire cigar world.”
The Perdomo Legacy will be available in three blends:
The Perdomo Legacy Nicaraguan Shade-Grown is a medium to full-bodied blend that features a rare, reddish-brown Nicaraguan Shade-Grown wrappers, which are bale-aged for 10 years and then carefully aged in bourbon barrels for a minimum of 10 months. Each cigar is crafted with the finest Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binders and fillers from the Perdomo family’s farms in Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa Valley. The Perdomo Legacy Nicaraguan Shade-Grown is a Nicaraguan puro described as a “rich, complex smoke, well-balanced spice, and subtle hints of oak on the finish.”
The Perdomo Legacy Ecuadorian Connecticut has a 10-year-aged Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Nicaraguan Shade-grown binder, and a premium Nicaraguan filler tobaccos grown on the Perdomo family’s farms in Nicaragua. This cigar’s honey-colored Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper has undergone bourbon barrel aging for at least eight months, ensuring a smooth and creamy medium-bodied profile with a subtle hint of spice on the finish.
The Perdomo Legacy Nicaraguan Maduro has a 10-year-aged, dark, oily Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper aged in a bourbon barrel for a minimum of 14 months. This cigar has a Nicaraguan Shade-grown binder and filler tobacco grown on the Perdomo family’s farms in Nicaragua. This is a medium-to-full-bodied Nicaraguan puro that is said to deliver “semi-sweet chocolate and espresso notes on the finish, making it a decadent choice for any cigar enthusiast.”
