Powstanie Cigars is charging into 2025 with its boldest War Bear release yet, unveiling the War Bear of Mass Destruction—a limited-production perfecto that expands on the series’ cult following while honoring the legendary Polish soldier bear, Wojtek. True to the brand’s creative spirit, this year’s edition marries an aggressive new look with a robust, flavorful blend crafted to stand out in humidors nationwide.

The 2025 War Bear arrives in a 5 7/8 x 60 perfecto, packed in 8-count boxes and priced at $25 per cigar (MSRP) or $200 per box. Production is limited to 1,000 boxes, with Powstanie fulfilling PCA retailer orders first, beginning immediately.

The War Bear of Mass Destruction builds on the traditional War Bear recipe, employing an Ecuadorian Habano and Mexican San Andrés barber-pole wrapper, this time tweaked to suit the larger vitola. Inside, an Indonesian binder cradles fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, forming a layered, full-flavored profile with spice, depth, and the signature character Powstanie fans expect.

This year’s release also introduces the most striking War Bear packaging to date. Each box comes wrapped in a custom camo-sprayed metal sleeve featuring a cut-out Powstanie logo. More than a decorative shell, the sleeve is engineered with a mounting feature, allowing it to double as wall-ready cigar art—an intentional collectible for enthusiasts and retailers alike.

With distinctive presentation, a beastly blend, and limited availability, the War Bear of Mass Destruction continues Powstanie’s tradition of pushing creativity forward while paying homage to the grit and story behind the brand’s namesake.
