Powstanie will introduce the new Grand Perfecto 2025 War Bear as a limited-production cigar at this year’s 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA25) trade show in New Orleans.
The Grand Perfecto 2025 War Bear features two wrappers–an Ecuadorian Habano and Mexican San Andrés–in an unbalanced barber-pole design. In addition to the double wrappers, this cigar will have an Indonesian binder and filler tobacco from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The Grand Perfecto 2025 War Bear will come packaged in 8-count boxes, with only 1,250 boxes being produced for release this year.
In a press release, Powstanie Cigars co-owner Mike Szczepankiewicz commented: “The War Bear has always been a special project for us, and the Grand Perfecto format takes it to another level. We can’t wait for retailers to purchase this exclusive release at PCA.”
Powstanie’s SBC24 will also be available for pre-order during PCA5. The SBC24 is being described as an ultra-limited release that will begin shipping during the fourth quarter of 2025. Only 500 boxes of 20 cigars will be produced. The SBC24 is presented as a 5 1/2 x 46 Corona Gorda with a suggested retail price of $16 before applicable taxes.
