The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) announces the winners of the second annual Best of the Leaf Awards. The PCA Best of the Leaf Awards was created to showcase the premium retail tobacconist industry across the country.
In December 2024, retail members of PCA were invited to nominate their stores for this award. In total, 38 stores were nominated and judged by a panel of industry experts on the criteria of each retail outlet’s aesthetics, merchandising, humidor selection/presentation, and customer service. Retailers had to submit videos and photos of their stores, bars, and lounges, and a written summary explaining why their store deserves to win a PCA Best of the Leaf Award. Recognizing the importance of the customers to tobacco retail, consumers were able to cast their votes for their favorite retailer during a two-week phase in late February/early March 2025. Winners were chosen after tallying the votes of the judging panel and votes earned from consumers.
“The PCA is proud to recognize excellence in our industry and the nominees and winners deserve the recognition after a rigorous nomination and voting process. The excitement at last night’s ceremony shows what it means to win this award,” states Joshua Habursky, Executive Director of the PCA.
